The idea behind Core is that not all installations need printing, or networking, or firmware, or hundreds and hundreds of unnecessary packages. You decide on the software set and functionality of the installation.
Includes all these "missing" packages and would suit those looking for a complete but basic desktop, specifically designed for older hardware or low-spec PCs.
This is the final iteration, as it was originally intended, with some user-contributed changes & tweaks (special thanks to Al & Daz).
If you are unsure of how to partition then choose "Guided - Use entire disk" (if replacing existing OS or backed up already) for optimum partitioning. If you are dual-booting or prefer full control you can still partition manually.
